Amber L. Trotter, Esquire, is a family law attorney at Friedman Law Firm, P.C. Prior to law school, Ms. Trotter worked for various law firms gaining experience while assisting attorneys in family law matters including divorce, equitable distribution, spousal support, custody/visitation, child support, and adoption. Ms. Trotter also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children in Arlington, Virginia, from 2016-2017. While in law school, Ms. Trotter clerked for a semester in the Middlesex Probate and Family Court in Cambridge, Massachusetts and worked as a certified student attorney with the New England Law | Boston Clinical Law Office, where she represented clients in divorce and domestic abuse cases.
Based on her experience, Ms. Trotter understands that family and domestic matters can be the most difficult time in a client's life. She strives to ensure that her clients feel heard and valued and believes that communication is key in helping her clients reach their goals.
